The Great Tao

This article compares the similarities of the spiritual insights of the Tao with that of other major religions, notably the Baha’i Faith. The author argues that there can be no understanding of the Chinese mind and spirit without knowing some of the major spiritual tenents of the Tao-te ching.
Taoism is a philosophical tradition of Chinese origin which emphasizes living in harmony with the Tao; literally: ‘The Way”. Taoism is a fundamental discourse in most Chinese philosophical schools and denotes the principle that is the source, pattern, and substance of everything that exists.
